Scholar Internship Grant Program

Municipalities can apply for WCMA's new Scholar Internship Grant Program, which provides up to $2,000 in matching funds to assist municipalities in creating a local government administration internship. Help yourself, help a student, and help the profession by applying for a Scholar Internship Grant.

Nominate Your Peers for the Annual WCMA / WAMCAM Awards Program

This awards program serves to recognize the achievements of outstanding WCMA and WAMCAM members. Nominations are accepted for two award categories, 1) Meritorious Service Award, and 2) Futures Award.

WCMA's eight Regional Coordinators serve on the Awards Committee, and they may be contacted with questions as well. Jeremy Smith, Village of Sussex Assistant Administrator, serves as the WAMCAM representative on the committee.

Final awards will be announced at the summer conference.

Government Gurus: WCMA Mentor Program

In order to provide additional opportunities for networking and personal and professional development, WCMA and WAMCAM have developed a mentor program to bring together experienced professional administrators with students, interns, assistants, newly-appointed administrators and administrators who are new to the state.
