The annual dues for Student/Academic Membership are $20.00, and include complimentary membership in WAMCAM.

Honorary/Life Membership

  • Honorary members are chosen for distinguished service to professional municipal management in Wisconsin.
  • Life members are retired from the local government management profession and have completed twenty-five years of membership, and, for those same twenty-five years, have been eligible to be an officer of the Association. Also, Full members who have been eligible to be an officer of the Association for at least fifteen years and retire from active service with a local government at age sixty-five or older are eligible for Life Membership.

There are no dues required of these members, however we do ask that they help us maintain accurate records by returning this dues statement with any corrections to their personal information.

Full/Associate Membership

  • Full members are appointed chief administrative officers or assistants who have served for at least three years, at least two of which were continuous in the same local government. Graduation from a university of recognized standing, or two years as an Associate Member, or five years in a responsible public administrative position is considered equivalent to one year of active practice.
  • Associate members are individuals who meet all the qualifications for Full membership except the length-of-service requirement.

The annual dues for Full and Associate members are based on salary and calculated using the table on the other side of this form. This revised dues structure was approved by the WCMA membership at the Annual Business Meeting on June 21, 2002. Associate members also interested and eligible to join WAMCAM receive complimentary Associate Membership in WCMA with paid Full Membership in WAMCAM.
